The Queer Business Collective is a collection of queer business owners who love to host events! Our events offer the collaboration, inspiration, and support that is sometimes missing from being a solo-preneur.

Join us for a fun and casual networking event for Queer Small Business Owners of all shapes, sizes, and sectors.
The online meetup includes facilitated introductions, one-to-one breakout rooms, and ends with celebrations and appreciations. It is a quick and fun hour. Digital Doors close at 10 minutes past the hour.
The in person meetup is hosted at Good To Eat Dumplings in Emeryville, CA from 5-7pm. We meet outside on the back patio. Food and beverages are available for purchase when you arrive. Events are weather permitting, so bring a layer (or 5!).
In either location, we will meet each other, share stories and experiences, and build community.

Our events are open to anyone who identifies as a queer small business owner. If you are worried you might not be queer enough, or that you might not be business owner enough, you are probably in the right place!
The Story
The Queer Business Collective was founded in 2022 by a bookkeeper, web designer, CPA and, me, a small business coach.
We started with hosting online networking events on where other queer business owners could come to connect and get support from a larger network.
In 2023 we started hosting in person events in Oakland, CA. We occasionally host in other locations like Santa Rosa, Portland, and Seattle.
